Walk with Me: A Nature Journal & Windmills of the Gods
For the Alphabet “W”, I planned to write about the author that I started reading about mystery and conspiracy fiction. As I didn’t write about this time about my favourite writer’s work, wanted to add any of his books. Coincidentally I visited an indie bookstore on Indie Bookstores Day, found the latest book, and added that book to this post.
Walk with Me: A Nature Journal curated by Ruskin Bond:
This book as the subtitle reveals is a journal for those who like nature and enjoy their trips. Ruskin Bond is well known for his love for nature and wild. This book is published by Red Panda (A Children’s section of the Westland Books) as an activity book. Surely this will be helpful to all nature lovers. Who like to trek or walk in nature.
I always read the introduction of any Ruskin Bond books as the way he writes introduction. How to use the journal and tools and materials needed, where he gives a list necessary for a walk or trek. How one should keep track during a trip using the tools and materials. There is a space for doodling or art, writing, stories, and a tabular form to list out. Surely a good way to journaling by using the format.
Windmills of the Gods by Sidney Sheldon.
My interest in reading thrillers or fiction based on conspiracies started with reading Sidney Sheldon.
This particular book remained my favourite. Without revealing much about the story, will write about the plot. The book is about a group who want to create hurdles for the promotion of policies that will create peace and harmony at a world level. Why and how one should read the book.
I enjoyed reading the book due to its pace and intensity in making me read the book. Whenever I want to read a thriller I reread the book.
HAPPY READING
