Dear Rookie, Don’t Panic: Your Cheat Sheet for Thriving at Work by Pawan Kumar Marella

During lunch, a colleague sat next to me and while talking she mentioned a colleague both are familiar with. She mentioned my colleague who had high regard for me. The reason I am mentioning this incident is recently I read the book about which I am going to write in this post. The book made me reflect on my journey (both personal and professional).

The book is a reflection of the author’s journey addressed to the rookies. After attending the author’s session I was curious to read the book (despite nearly 3 decades of professional life). While reading I tried to recollect my journey. The lessons that I have learned during this journey, made me cope with the working life and gained respect amongst colleagues and people who know me.
