To my knowledge, the first book of the Ruskin Bod I read was “The blue umbrella” and the simplicity of language and the storyline made me look for his other books. I started reading ever since the books that are published. I was curious if the sketch of the author by reading his works that I portrayed is going to be the same? That made me look forward to meeting him. 2019, gave me the opportunity and meeting him. Whatever I read is real, he is kind, with a good memory (he asked me if the bookshop he visited long ago near clocktower is still around, I forgot the name when he asked later I remember that was Gangarams) and a down-to-earth gentleman.
I got a collection of nearly 104 books written by him and working on a project compiling the stories that I read in various collections. Hope to complete it soon.

Writing for My Life: The Very Best of Ruskin Bond
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR RUSKIN BOND
My introduction to Ruskin Bond was through the book "The Room on the Roof". Although the main character is a boy, I could still relate to the very emotion that a late teenager would have felt. Bond's writing is crisp and there is a profound philosophy embedded in his simple writing. Happy wishes to him!
